AdFM is over!

Don't freak out guys! I know, you didn't care at all... But anyways, just wanted to let you guys know, I'm no longer AdFM, but rather, 6reenlight. Yes, with a 6.

Before you guys ask why I changed my name, well, here it is...

- 6reenlight is easier to build an image from, the name has features like color and object, easy, I only need a bulb that lights up green. AdFM was impossible to translate into an image.

- 6reenlight starts with a number, that means I'll be either on top or bottom of your artist tab on your iPod (which are the most seen parts of it). Yes, that was one of the reasons I picked AdFM, this is the same feature, but enhanced.

- ADFM is the name of an association of females in Morocco, I wouldn't like to get them on bottom of the google searchs because of a silly un-important music project. Although, Green Light (a pretty similar name to my new one) is already taken by about 3 DIFFERENT COMPANIES! I don't affect any of them because my name has a different character in it, yes, that's why there's a six...

- 6reenlight is badass, admit it, 6reenlight is way more badass than AdFM could have ever dreamed of, I like the name better, is more effective (commercially speaking) which would become really in handy now that my project might go after some profit, yes, I'm going to try to make a living outta this... Wish me luck!

- Exploitation, no, I'm not talking about Kenyans or Chinese people... Remember we were talking about how I changed my name n stuff? Well, the "6" in the beginning stands for a G instead, this would make it easier for fans to make clever jokes and comments (yes, like they do it with the mau5) If you guys still don't get it, here's an example:
This track is pure 6reatness...
Now I believe in 6od...
6eor6e and 6race 6rew 6lossy 6rapes and 6rimmy 6arlic 6ladly... lol
Yes, that's the basic plan, although, I know haters won't last too long on saying:
This music is 6ay!!!!
Oh, the haters, oh, the trolls... Gotta love those 6uys.

"Welcome to my new project, get used to my new name."

Oh, here we go again!

After that last time I blogged something, I think it was my birthday, wasn't it? Well, not important, a lotta stuff happened...

First and most important, I found out a month later, that Laddergoat! (iNexus and I) was picked by the judges of that other contest I don't feel like talking about, to be featured on the game Nightclub City's playlist. Goodie, congrats to us for the big achievement on the first try, Laddergoat!, then, earned a PRO membership to indaba for that, I also got a PRO membership on my AdFM profile because I was in the most voted tracks in the contest, hooray for me, I guess...

Second, I've entered in about 7 different contests (remixes and originals) to see if I can make some profit... Yeah, I know, I said I wasn't doing this for money, but let's face it, it must feel really uplifting to see material rewards come to you. Just saying.

Third, One of them already ended and I didn't win anything, so let's wait for the other 6. Right in this moment, I was arranging (more like trying to) what is going to be my submission for Codus Records' "Pleaseant Breeze" remix contest. So far, not so good...

Yesterday I made what could be the final version of "Detailed Stick Figures", a dance tune this "The Basement Club Scene" was asking for so muuuuuch. Seriously.

So far, what I have for this album is a total of 8 tracks:
-Longcat
-BYNY
-Everything You Are
-Get Yourself Higher
-A Darker Cherry (Yes, a 2nd edit of Cherry)
-Beyond These Lines
-Dream Out Loud
-Detailed Stick Figures

I don't know why, but I just felt like putting a lot of words on these tracks, as you can see.
Well, in other unrelated news, this weekend was crazy as fuck, a lot of alcohol, some marihuana as well and... a freakin' hangover.

See you then, bye.
