No exclamation points, no emoticons, not a single detail more than a fact, the fact itself is that today is my birthday. Yes, Alejandro is now 17 years old and feels good with it. I'm totally happy with my age, first, because I just went from too young to a middle that isn't scarily old. WTF?

I'm 17, so I can do anything I would do if I was 18 and still have the legal protection of a minor, that feels so good to know :D Ok, maybe that's my first emoticon here, but that's ok. I'm happy, and I don't care about anything that would happen today, so, be afraid!

OMG... What the hell is wrong with this dude?

I know this wasn't a good post, but the hell with it, it's my birthday after all, I can do anything I want...

Some sort of "Welcome".

Hi there, everyone, AdFM here.

I did it! I finally did it... I started blogging n stuff. Sorry about the typo, but really, get used to it.

Here, I'll try to keep things in a professional level on a non-professional way. I mean, I'll keep it informal, so no fancy words, or treatment.

I'm sorry I write like this, but I tend to compress everything I say in short, simple, melodic lines. Thank you very much, Twitter -.-

Well, I would say something about myself and how I ended up here, but I guess that's why I have that little thing on the right that says "About me", in case you didn't know. But basically, I'm a music producer since 2008, a college student since 2010 and I'll rule the world since 2011 try to be something else as soon as this upcoming year starts. I make MOSTLY Electronic Dance Music, but I've made some other stuff that I consider doesn't really fit in that genre. However, most of my stuff has kicks, snares, synths, bass, hooks and those other things that people don't really care about, so let's move on.

How did I end up blogging? Why am I doing this? How did I get to be that stupid?

Well, I think it has been quite a long (not really) ride in these 2 years of "making music", two years where I got to learn a lot of stuff, where I got to make some friends involved in this whole thing that made the ride a lot better, two years where I got to do stuff I never thought I would ever do. Music? In these two years I have been climbing up on myself, a place I wanna reach that I know I'll eventually get to. Fame? Money? Girls? NOT EXACTLY.

I mean it. I'm not making "music" to get fame, or money, or chicks, I do it for the plain sake of making music. I want people to listen to what I do with my pc, I do want people to like it, because my plan is to arrange noise, render it to an .mp3 file and then be played in a nightclub/rave/party/reunion/whatever. Is that fame? I don't think so. But then, why do I say "not exactly" and not just a simple "no"? Because I know those things will eventually come with it. When I get to be played on a public place, there's a chance, people, or a group or just a simple someone will ask "Who's that guy?" And if I get to be pretty good, more people will ask and they'll look for me, for info, for tracks, and that slowly drives me into "fame".

I don't do it for the money either, because, first of all, there's no money. I don't sell my tracks, I give them for free instead. There's no income outta this, except for that weird (in a good way) satisfaction you get after someone says "I like this track", or "I think your remix is better than the original", or the powerful big sentence which is "I love your music". But don't get me wrong, I would love to sell my music, I would love to perform live in front of a crowd, and I would definitely love to make a living outta this.

I'm a geek as you can see, so it isn't hard to believe that I don't do this for the chicks. Plus, I'm not exactly bright when I'm around them, I'm pretty rubbish and awkward when it comes to women, but that's just another story...

So, I've been taking many steps as I go in this journey, and so far it has been great (I hope it stays that way) and well, I figured the next step on this, is to talk you guys about what it has been like, how it feels to be, that's why I'm doing this, that's why I'm blogging...

...I'm just taking the next step.
